What is an AOG Situation?
Aircraft on Ground (AOG) describes any situation where a mechanical, electrical, or systems issue prevents an aircraft from completing its intended flight. AOG events are unscheduled, urgent, and expensive.
Unlike routine maintenance that can be planned around your schedule, AOG events demand immediate response. The longer an aircraft sits grounded, the greater the operational and financial impact on owners and operators.
Crescent Aircraft Services specializes in rapid AOG response. We assess the squawk, source parts if needed, and execute the repair on-site to minimize your aircraft's time on the ground.
How We Respond
A clear, fast process from your first call to wheels up.
Your Call
Contact our AOG hotline at any hour. A technician picks up directly, no answering service, no delay. You describe the squawk and your location.
Assessment
We gather the details needed to determine tooling, parts, and manpower requirements before we roll. The right equipment leaves with our technician from the start.
On-Site Response
Our team arrives at your location, conducts a thorough diagnosis, and begins the repair. We work until the aircraft is airworthy or a clear path to return-to-service is established.
Return to Service
Completed maintenance is documented in accordance with FAA requirements. A logbook entry is made and your aircraft is returned to service with the paperwork to back it up.
Coverage Across Southeast Louisiana
Our AOG team responds to airports, FBOs, and airfields throughout the Southeast Louisiana region, including the New Orleans metro, Baton Rouge, the Northshore, and the surrounding parishes.
If your aircraft is on the ground in our region, we will come to it. Geography is not a reason to remain grounded longer than necessary.
